Titanium case: Court asks to complete probe within 2 months

T'puram: The Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance Court ordered the Vigilance to submit report on the Titanium corruption case within two months after completing probe. The court has dismissed the request of the Vigilance seeking four more months to complete the investigation. The Vigilance prosecutor told the court that the probe was progressing and that FIR was registered against six persons in connection with the case. The prosecutor further said that important documents were recovered in an inspection led by the Vigilance Director the other day. The Vigilance has registered FIR against former chief minister Oommen Chandy, Ramesh Chennithala, Ebrahim Kunju and other officials in connection with the Titanium corruption case.
