Finance ministers to discuss GST in Delhi next week

New Delhi: As the logjam over the passage of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) continues, the Centre has convened a high power committee meeting of the state finance ministers in Delhi next week. The Centre clarified that there should be more discussions on how to share service tax with the states. In the last meeting of state finance ministers held in Kolkata, the draft bill was approved. The Centre is anxious that the share of the service tax it should get may be reduced once GST is implemented.
