Modi pulls up UPA govt. over Unnao gold hunt

New Delhi: Even as the Archaeological Survey of India {ASI} began excavations for hidden gold treasure in the ruins of the Raja Rao Ram Bux Singh fort, political controversy erupted. BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi ridiculed the Centre for embarking on this hunt spurred by the dream by a seer, saying India would stand to gain several thousand crores of rupees if it were to retrieve the black money stashed away in Swiss banks. However, the Congress were all for it since unearthing the treasure would benefit the treasury. The excavation was prompted by the dream of a local seer, Shobhan Sarkar, who had visions of buried treasure
