TP Senkumar shunted out; Loknath Behra new DGP

T'puram: The new LDF government on Monday night effected a high-level reshuffle in the police department. TP Sen Kumar, the Director General of Police (Law and Order) was shunted out and replaced by Loknath Behra, who was presently in charge of jails. Another important change was Jacob Thomas, who took on previous Oommen Chandy government through his Facebook post, has been made the Vigilance Chief. He replaced Shankar Reddy, who holds the rank of the additional director general of police. A reshuffle of the top police brass was on the cards. Pinarayi Vijayan, who holds the home and vigilance portfolios, made the changes, hours after he returned from Delhi on Monday night.
