Kochi: The High Court on Monday said that there is no need of CBI probe into Perumbavoor murder case. The court also said that it will not interfere the investigation at this stage. The court made its stand clear while considering petitions demanding probe into the case. Pointing out that it is important to protect the privacy of the victim after her death, the court rejected the demand to make post-mortem report public. The investigation conducted under the leadership of ADGP B. Sandhya can go forward. It is not correct to mention the name of the Perumbavoor victim frequently in the media and other avenues. A Supreme Court ruling regarding this exists presently, the court observed.
