US President Barack Obama makes historic visit to Hiroshima

Hiroshima: Barack Obama became the first serving US president to visit Hiroshima since the World War II nuclear attack. Though Obama said the memory of 1945 August 6 must never fade, he did not apologise for the US attack. In his official address, Obama called on nations to pursue a world without nuclear weapons. Obama spoke to two survivors of nuclear attack. Obama visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum before walking to the Peace Memorial Park, accompanied by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Obama laid a wreath in front of the eternal flame.
