Solar auto to bid goodbye to petrol and diesel

Bengaluru: With the burgeoning vehicle population, air and noise pollution are troubling the metros. Not only are the carbon monoxide that that the vehicles emit that are posing a threat but also the engine sound that is adding to the pollution. Two youngsters from Bengaluru, has come up with a solution that to an extend will lessen the carbon emission. They have come up with an auto that runs on solar power. It also received the permission form centre. The are hoping that the auto will hit the streets from coming July. With one time charging it can run up to 80 to 100 km. Ramesh Sharma and Umesh Chandra are brain behind the project.
