Smart City a damp squib?

A new beginning for the much anticipated Smart City in Kochi as chief minister Oommen Chandy inaugurated the project on Saturday in the presence of union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy. The CM said the world will be coming to India uch sooner. But, only 22 companies of the promised 27 have set up shop in the Smart City; six of them are non-IT companies.
