Case against Sukesan is pressure tactics: Pinarayi

Thodupuzha/Tvpm: CPM leaders Pinarayi Vijayan and Kodiyeri Balakrishnan came heavily against the Vigilance department for initiating a crime branch case against R. Sukesan, the investigating officer in bar bribe allegation. Pinarayi alleged that the state government is trying to exert pressure and to make the officer sing their tune. The state government has appointed ADGP Shanker Reddy as the Vigilance Director bypassing three DGPs is to implement the Congress agenda, Pinarayi added. Meanwhile CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan asks if the police is not considering the audio tapes as evidence against Thampanoor Ravi, then how can they register a case against SP R. Sukesan.
