HC stayed Vig court order: Relief for high command too

Delhi: The Congress high command who were in pressure as the vigilance court has asked the police to register FIR against chief minister Oommen Chandy and power minister Aryadan Mohammed got a relief today as the High Court stayed the vigilance court order. The national dailies had raised this issue and published editorial demanding Oommen Chandy's ouster. This had exerted pressure on the high command to act. Congress president Sonia Gandhi took stock of the situation from Kerala leaders and as a stay order was received from the high court, the high command extended their support to Oommen Chandy. The leadership also condemned the public criticism against the vigilance judge by their youth and student wings.
