Violence-free Kannur: Distant dream or distinct possibility?

CPM senior leader Pinarayi Vijayan has made it clear that he was ready for talks with the RSS if that could ensure peace in Kannur. He was responding to a comment made by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat saying that his outfit was willing to speak to the CPM for bringing down violence in the district. Meanwhile, the Kannur unit of Congress alleged that both parties had spend crores of rupees for organising violence. The Super Prime takes a look at the issue.
