New Delhi: Lt Governor Najeeb Jung has termed Arvind Kejriwal's constitution of a one-member commission of inquiry to probe the alleged Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) scam in which Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is allegedly involved as legally invalid. Jung reportedly told the Home Ministry that the Commission of Inquiry Act, 1952 only allows Centre and state governments to appoint a commission of inquiry. With Delhi being a Union Territory, the AAP government can order an enquiry with the concurrence of the Centre, through the LG, he said in a letter to centre asking it disqualify the commission.
