Will protest until law is passed: Jyoti's parents

New Delhi: Badrinath, father of Jyoti Singh who was brutally raped and killed in Delhi three years ago, said that the Parliament was responsible for the rapist to be released so early. "I know the court cannot do much about this," he said. Protesting the release of the murder accused, Jyoti's parents sat on a dharna at Jantar Mantar. Jyoti's mother said that they would continue with their protest until the Parliament passed the requisite law. They demanded the lawmakers not to play politics on the issue.
