Announced pay hike not given to Aralam farm workers
Kannur: It is alleged that the government order for pay revision of employees in the Aralam farm following their strike, has been sabotaged. It was in September last that the government decided to raise the salary of employees along with those in other farms and brought out an order for the same in October. But there were anomalies in grade fixation and hence the workers could not get deserving salaries. A salary due of ten months is also due for these workers, who are frustrated to see that the announced salary hike is not being given.
