Chennithala says corruption rampant in State

Delhi: Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has sent a letter to the Congress high command alleging that the government's poor performance was the reason for the party's defeat in the local body polls. Chennithala says that the Chief Minister has lost his image and that corruption was rampant in the state. In the letter sent to high command last month, Chennithala described the reasons for the party's defeat in the elections. The letter says that the BJP became strong after the local body polls and the Hindu community started to support BJP. Chennithala also alleges that the government's appeasement of minorities is the cause of Hindu community distancing itself from UDF.
