KPCC not to change the DCC presidents

T'puram: The Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee had in principle decided not to change the presidents of district congress committees in certain districts where the party had faced a setback in the Local Self Government elections. A final decision on this is expected in the executive committee of the KPCC, which is scheduled on 14th December. There were suggestions to change the presidents of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Wayanad districts. It is learned that it is because the Jatha of KPCC president is starting from Kasargod on January 5th and changing the DCC presidents would affect the organisation of the Jatha.
