If TN opens dam sans warning, will take legal steps: Prakash

Idukki: If Tami Nadu opened the shutters of Mullapperiyar dam without proper warning, legal action would be initiated against the state, said revenue minister Adoor Prakash. The government would rehabilitate people living on the banks of Periyar permanently. The local self government bodies also should work towards that, he said. In the beginning, people should be made aware of the gravity of the problem. The minister said he would soon submit a report on his visit to Mullapperiyar dam.
