Mumbai: Delhite Rahul Arya, who describes himself as the first graphic sand artist of India has captured Sachin’s farewell to cricket, the life of the late President, A P J Abdul Kalam, and uses it also as a weapon to fight against injustice. He has recounted the glorious history of Bollywood through sand art. In a video uploaded on Youtube, titled ‘100 Years of Bollywood in 200 seconds’ Arya has brilliantly portrayed the evolution of Hindi films. The montage opens with India’s first silent film Raja Harishchandra to 2015’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. As timeless songs from the films play in the background, characters magically blend into each other at the touch of his fingertip, coupling dialogues and music.
