Bar bribery verdict: Vigilance to file review petition

Kochi: The vigilance department will file a review petition seeking to remove the adverse remarks against vigilance director Vinson M Paul. The revision plea will be submitted on Monday at the High Court. The decision was taken after discussing the matter with legal experts. Meanwhile, minister KM Mani will not approach the courts directly against vigilance court's order to conduct further inquiry into the bar bribery case. The legal experts have advised Mani and the government that the High Court could criticise Mani for questioning the verdict.
