Seat-denied Youth Congress men take out shirtless march

Thrissur: The Youth Congress workers removed their shirts and took out a march to protest at having denied seats in the local body polls. Mandalam president Shyju Veliyath led the march. They warned that they would contest on their own to the corporation. CV Geetha, daughter of minister CN Balakrishnan will be a candidate; but the mayoral candidate of the Congress has not been finalised. The KPCC would not intervene in the faction fight going on in the district as president VM Sudheeran has made it clear that the issues should be resolved within the district itself. Meanwhile, the national leadership of the Youth Congress has demanded the KPCC for more representation to the youth.
