Beef row: No action against teacher Deepa Nisanth

Thrissur: Devaswom Board has decided not to take any action against Deepa Nisanth lecturer at Sree Kerala Varma College, who objected to the beef ban. Devaswom Board authorities said that the principal's report said that Deepa Nisanth was not involved in anyway in the beef fest organised by a section of students inside the college. Teacher Deepa Nisanth had put up a FB post questioning the beef ban imposed by the college. The Malayalam teacher's FB post became viral on the social networking sites inviting the ire of BJP-ABVP workers, while huge support came for the teacher. ABVP workers had given a complaint against her to college principal and Kochi Devasom Board based on which a inquiry was conducted by the principal.
