India talks tough gives midnight deadline to Pakistan

New Delhi: Giving a deadline for Pakistan till tonight to offer twin assurances, Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said without which crucial talks scheduled in Delhi will not be held. The twin assurance India wants from Pakistan are that Kashmir cannot be part of the agenda and Sartaj Aziz, the Pakistani National Security Adviser should not meet Kashmiri separatists in New Delhi. Sending the strong signal, she clarified in a press meet that India will not accept a third party to the talks. Swaraj said it was decided at Ufa that the NSA talks would focus only on terrorism.
