Children being massacred in Yemen: Unicef

Around 400 children have been killed in Yemen since late March in the terrible war going on in the impoverished Arab country, said the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). “Since the conflict escalated on 26 March 2015,” the report said, “Nearly three children are being killed every day and another five injured... "This conflict is a particular tragedy for Yemeni children," said UNICEF Representative in Yemen, Julien Harneis. "They are being killed by bombs or bullets, and those that survive face the growing threat of disease and malnutrition. This cannot be allowed to continue."
