Activists Throw Rotten Eggs on CM’s Vehicle
Thiruvananthapuram: The LDF activists threw rotten eggs on the vehicles of Agricultural Minister and Chief Minister when both came to inaugurate the horticorp’s district collecting centre. There was police vigil in the area when came to know of the LDF protest in the area. There was a clash between the activists and the police when they threw rotten eggs on the car of the Minister K. P. Mohan. When the Chief Minister Oommen Chandy came to for the inauguration at 2 pm, the LDF activists showed black flag and threw rotten eggs on his car. When a LDF activist tried to block the CM’s car the police took him into custody and it lead to commotion. The LDF activists blocked the road asking his release.
