CBSE dress code for AIPMT exam bans caps and scarves

New Delhi: The Central Board of School Education has issued a controversial Notification mentioning dress code for the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test to be held on July 25, banning caps and scarves in AIPMT exam centres. Students have to stick to a dress code, which includes wearing light colour clothes with half-sleeves shirt/T-shirt /Kurta. The first ever order also directs students to wear slippers and not shoes. Some students had Bluetooth devices and ear-phones hidden in such wear during the exam initially held on 3 May, which was rescinded by the apex court. CBSE sources told ‘Mathrubhumi News’ that there was no religious agenda behind the order.
