Kozhikode: B Ed admission to the Calicut University has hit a road block as the university authorities failed to obtain temporary recognition for its eleven B Ed centres from All India Council for Teacher education. The recognition was cancelled as these centres did not have the basic infrastructure. The university used to obtain temporary recognition and admit students. This time, the university has not even put out admission notification. The students are forced to seek admission to self financing colleges where they would have to pay double the amount of what the university charges for the same.
