Solar scam verdict endorse government stand, says CM

T'puram: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said the first verdict in the solar scam uphold that the government stand is hundred per cent right. He said in the judgement the court has praised the probe. "The appreciation for the prosecution also proves that the case was handled independently. The judgement also makes clear that the letter used in my name was fake," he added. Chandy said many revelations coming out in connection with the solar case are irrelevant and he had not given money to Saritha. 'The complainant in the solar case Baburaj had not visited me and a probe was ordered immediately after he had approached the Home Minister with the complaint,' he said.
