The high court verdict is shocking: Subramanian Swamy

New Delhi: Subramanian Swamy, the petitioner in the disproportionate assets case against former Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa expressed shock over the decision of the Karnataka High court leaving the accused Scot free. Subramanian Swamy had filed the case first at Principal Sessions court in Chennai, and later the case was transferred to the Bengaluru Sessions Court. Reacting to the verdict, Subramanian Swamy said, it is the duty of the prosecutor to file an appeal in the Supreme court. He added that he will interfere and file an appeal with the Supreme Court, if the persecutor did not submit the appeal.
