Sonia slams Modi raises vacant CIC posts issue in Lok Sabha

New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Narendra Modi government saying that he is trying to implement Gujarat model governance in the country. She said the double standards of the government was evident and it had no concern for the poor. She launched the attack in the Congress parliament party meeting. She continued her onslaught in the parliament against Modi government alleging that government is not filling the post of the Central Information Commissioner (CIC) to 'shield' itself from scrutiny. 'This post has been lying vacant for the last eight months. The posts of the three information commissioners of the Central Information Commission have also been lying vacant," she said.
