Janata Parivar unites, to take on Sangh Parivar

To revive its past glory, the six Janata Parivar parties announced their decision to merge into a single party. A meeting held at New Delhi decided that Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh will head the new party. The name, flag, symbol and policy will be finalised by a six-member committee later. The committee headed by Mulayam will have HD Deve Gowda (Janata Dal-S), Sharad Yadav (Janata Dal-United), Om Prakash Chautala (Indian National Lok Dal) , Kamal Morarka (Samajwadi Janata Party) and Ram Gopal Yadav (SP). The Janata Parivar is looking at forming an alternative to both BJP and Congress at the Centre and the first litmus test will be the upcoming Bihar assembly election. Super Prime time discusses it.
