George reluctant to step down
A decision on the removal of PC George from the Chief Whip post will be taken on Monday. Chief Minister is yet to reach a consensus on George's demand of forming a separate party- Kerala Congress (Secular) and allowing to continue in the UDF. Though Ramesh Chennithala and PK Kunhalikutty do not oppose this, KM Mani is against it. KC(M) has even threatened to withdraw its support, if such a move takes place.
