The central Committee rejects VS' letter

Delhi: The Central Committee of the CPI (M) rejected the letter submitted by the opposition leader V.S. Achuthanandan. The central committee observed that there is no justification in walking out of the Kerala State Conference of the party held in Alappuzha in February. The central committee also referred the matter to the Politburo commission, which will look into the organisational factors in detail. Briefing the decision of the central committee general secretary Prakash Karat added that V.S will hold the position of opposition leader in the Kerala Legislative Assembly till the decision of the Politburo commission comes. Meanwhile VS reserved his comments and said he will react later.
