Bar owners take elusive stand in the bar bribe probe

T'puram: The bar owners have taken an elusive stand from giving statement to Vigilance in the bribe. Many of the bar owners from Malappuram, Kannur, Alappuzha stood a stand collectively to refrain from giving statement in the case. Many others have asked for extension of time. The gesture of the bar owners is termed as a pressure tactics in the wake of the new Abkari policy and the budget presentation.
