T’puram: Answering a question on “Chodhyam Utharam,” as to whether CM Chandy was “compromising” in the issue of corruption, former chief secretary Bharat Bhushan vented his “frank” opinion that “the CM should adopt a firmer stance” in such matters. To another query by Unni Balakrishnan, Chief of News, ‘Mathrubhumi News,’ on whether the CM was lenient towards certain tainted officials; the former top bureaucrat said that the CM would sometimes seek “undeserving favours” for such bureaucrats.
