Bengaluru: The digital city will rock less this New Year, with the cops clamping down restrictions in the wake of the low intensity blast outside the popular Coconut Grove restaurant. The celebrations have been curtailed by an hour following the blast with police issuing renewed No Objection Certificate to bar and restaurants to keep the joints open till 1 a.m. on Dec 31 and Jan 1, instead of the earler 2 a.m. Security will be beefed up in glitzy Brigade Road, M G Road and Church Street, which will also be under increased surveillance with more number of CCTVs. Meanwhile, the Karnataka police have intensified the probe into the blast case and expanded their investigation into other states, including Kerala.
