Bargate: Bar owners abstain from giving statement

Kochi: The Bar Owner's Association leaders abstain from the vigilance's instruction to record their statement on the bargate case in which Finance Minister K.M Mani is the prime accused. The bar owners had instead informed the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau that they would appear only after January 6th. Association working president Rajkumar Unni, secretary Dhanesan and office bearer Sunil Kumar were asked to report to the Vigilance on Friday. The vigilance had recorded detailed statement of association's president and complainant Biju Ramesh earlier.
