Political attacks are on rise again in Kannur

Kannur: The attacks unleashed by the BJP and CPI (M) in an attempt defend and hold on their political bastions are on the rise in Kannur. Earlier, these parties aimed libraries, statues of political leaders and likes to vent their anger the method of attack has changed to house, vehicles and other valuable things of the party workers recently. This month alone 53 such cases were registered in various police stations in the district. According to Dr Sasidharan, a political analyst, by attacking the houses and valuables the motive of these parties is to spread panic among the opposition party workers and force them to disengage from party activities.
