Chandy’s riposte to Sudheeran

T’puram: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said on Monday that it is not from external pressures but taking into concern the social reality made his government to revoke the liquor policy. He said it while during the MLA’s meeting here. Chandy asserted that there won’t be any review on the liquor policy. The bar employer’s situation and the set back tourism industry received have forced the government to take such a decision and the decision was finalized after discussing it at various levels. Meanwhile, KPCC president, when asked about the simmering politics of the state, replied that he is staying ‘cool’. Benny Behanan MLA commented that the decision the government had taken in the liquor policy is right.
