Three Malayalis find an end to garbage worry of Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru garbage crisis has hit the headlines of many international newspapers few months ago and this has brought a bad fame to otherwise a beautiful city known in the name of Garden City. Months ago, three youngsters from Kerala who have come to the city in search of job have found a solution to this long-menacing problem. The three bio-tech graduate friends-Arun, Seeshan and Shiraz- developed a plant that can treat wastes to make bio-gas. Their plants treat around 75 tonne of wastes a day producing 1200 kg of gas. The gas is later sold to the hotels from where they procure food wastes. The later product after the treatment is used as organic manure which is also sold outside.
