Without Jayalalithaa, AIADMK celebrates 43rd anniversary

Chennai: The headquarters of AIADMK at Royalpettah bore a deserted looked on the eve of the party’ 43rd birthday. The party workers are still clueless over whether their General Secretary would get bail in the disproportionate asset case when the Supreme Court takes up the case on the anniversary day on Friday. Since the formation of the part in October 17, 1972 by MG Ramachandran, the general secretary of the party hoisted the flag at their HQ marking the anniversary celebrations. Since their chief was in jail, the party workers have decided to give leave to all kinds of celebrations. AIADMK presidium chairman E Madhusoodanam would hoist the flag to mark the occasion barring any celebration.
