Sree; the golden boy of Indian Hockey @ Morning Show
After 16 years when India won their gold medal beating Pakistan in the final at Seonhak stadium, a man stood tall amid the entire clamour. It was none other than P R Sreejesh, the prodigious custodian of Indian hockey. Sreejesh’s valiant efforts in saving a couple of shots helped India bag the gold medal. The sudden echelon of success has given a fresh lease of life to Indian hockey, which was huffing and puffing for a while. Sreejesh’s says that his lazy attitude landed him in the job of a goalie in hockey. It was his coach at G V Raja Sports School discovered the talent in him. Sreejesh speaks more about his triumph at Morning Show.
