State Cong wants Tharoor to laud Modi less

T’puram: State Congress warned Shashi Tharoor against praising PM Modi but the former Union Minister Facebooked that he is a “astonished by pro-BJP charges” and believed in “India’s pluralism.” Hinting at disciplinary action if Tharoor kept on lauding Modi, KPCC Vice President MM Hassan said, “As a first step, we are asking him to stop praising Modi as the latter’s stance is totally against Congress ideals.” KPCC President VM Sudheeran, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and KPCC Vice President V D Satheeshan & KPCC N Subramanian too expressed strong displeasure. Former state YC Pres M Liju said it was surprising that the Tharoor failed to realise the true agenda behind Modi’s schemes.
