India to join hands with to counter terrorism

New York: Prime Minster Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama discussed a broad range of issues including cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, manufacturing, defence, maritime security and countering terrorism in their two hour long close talks on Tuesday in the White House. The two countries reached an agreement on extending their defence cooperation for ten more years. Both leaders agreed to make joint and concerted efforts for countering terrorism. The two leaders also agreed to continue with the existing Indo-US nuclear deal. Obama urged India to sign in the WTO treaty.
