‘Addicted to life’ gets super likes!
Thiruvananthapuram: The Excise department’s Facebook page ‘addicted to life’ against liquor and drugs becomes viral. The page gets more than two and a half lakh likes within one and half months. The Excise Department claims that this is the biggest response that a government campaign gets through the new media in Kerala. The first like to come from the Chief Minister’s official page on August 6. Within one week it mounted to one lakh. According to Facebook more than one crore people reached ‘addicted to life’ page. The reach goes to two crore with NRI and other state Malayalees. Around 60,000 people use ‘addicted to life’ as their Facebook cover page.
