UA Khader – Genuine and pure storyteller

Adopted to Kerala and adapting to a foreign language was at earlier stages too tough for the seven-year-old kid. But U A Khader adapted the foreign language Malayalam and became an exponent in it and etched his name by penning works that include novels, short-stories, travelogues and non-fiction. His works were translated to various languages including English, Hindi and Kannada and thus can be called an Indian writer. Born to Keralite father and Burmese mother Khader shifted his abode to Kerala during the Second World War. Foster son of Malayalam Khader immortalized a language which is now his mother tongue. Ee Vazhitharayil, Episode 83.
