Magnetic Engine; the technology of the future

A group of students from UKF Engineering College, Kollam as part of their project had done a project which is quite different from other projects presented in the Out of the Box. They made an Engine which is run by magnetic energy which saves power in great amount. The Engine will work on the theory of magnetic repulsion; need no fuel but only a small amount of power to run the machine. During an age of intermittent power stoppages and fuel price sky rocketing, the introduction of this kind of a magnetic engine in cars and house hold machines helps to save more energy and money. The five member team had spent four months and Rs 35,000 to develop the machine as part of their project. Out of the Box, Episode 71.
