Fires burn on in Puthussery’s heart

Even while plunged in the midst of the nationalist movement the young Dr. Puthussery Ramachandran was scanning the horizon in search of a red star. Days and nights of struggle and torture transmuted into poetry through mellowing time. In the embers of his memories stir the ghosts of debates, teaching and research, all devoted to making society a better place. He still treasures the memory of raising the flag of our independent nation on August 15, 1945. Puthuppalli Raghavan, his illustrious uncle was an enduring influence.
