Edneer Mutt
Situated on the Kasaragod-Puthur road, about ten kms. north east of Kasaragod town, the Mutt of Edneer is renowned as a seat of art and learning and it belongs to the Sankaracharya tradition. It attracts devotees from all over Kerala, Karnataka and other states. This ancient mutt belongs to the Thotakacharya (one of the four disciples of Sankaracharya) tradition.
