Kappa channel inaugurated

Kozhikode: Mathrubhumi's entertainment channel `Kappa' was launched on Monday morning at the Mathrubhumi head office here. The pure entertainment channel focusing on mix of music, lifestyle and trivia was dedicated to the nation by Mathrubhumi manging director M P Veerendrakumar and Managing Editor P V Chandtan by lighting the traditional lamp.
Kappa will go on-air with a full packages of entertainment for Malayalees. The music channel will feature a differentiated format catering to the up-market youth. The music offering will consist of a mix of genres from bollywood, regional languages like Malayalam and Tamil, and international music as well. It will be a free-to-air channel with a wide variety of programmes.
The music channel will specifically have focused programmes catering to all youth and its packaging too will be very different from that of other music channels . Film stars, models, directors, musicians will be a part of this venture which will be focusing on full entertainment . There would be a platform to discuss and debate social issues especially by the youths. Kappa offers uniqueness in its each programme and 24 hour entertainment to viewers.
