Global Village: Special Arrangements made for visitors

Thiruvananthapuram: Elaborate arrangements have been made to enable visitors to enjoy the grand spectacles at the Global Village, a high-point of the South Indian Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF) Season Six.
Organised by the Tourism Department, the Global Village brings together an exciting potpourri of fun activities to enliven this festive season.
It is set in the expansive Lulu Centre premises in Bolgatty Island in Kochi. A massive replica of Kerala's famed houseboat will usher visitors into the Global Village that enmeshes Kerala's rich traditional architecture with internationally accepted standards of cleanliness and security.
Arrangements have been made for spot-cleaning in order to maintain a high standard of hygiene. An army of 100 security personnel along with personnel of police and fire force will provide round-the-clock security to the Global Village. Entry to the fair is regulated by tickets at Rs 50. School children will enjoy a discounted fee of Rs 20.
All visitors will be given photo badges for entry.
